To make I worse, the most vicious and mean-spirited villain of all time pursues TC both to destroy him and his machine as well as destroy the love he has won. The last pages are filled with police cars with red flashing lights, helicopters buzzing overhead, and explosions enough to be from the battle of Chosen Reservoir. The chase scene equals that of in "The French Connection."
